Installation notes (method 1):******************************

1. If Norton is installed and expired, then Norton and restart
the computer. Then run the NTR and purge Norton.
>> Or install the NTR in Windows Safe Mode (F8) using an Administrator account.

2. Install Norton. (If already installed and has not expired, then skip to Step 3.)

3. If you are using an older version of the NTR, then uninstall it now.

4. Install the NTR and follow the instructions.

5. If you want to uninstall the NTR just click Uninstall.
Make sure that you uninstall the NTR before you remove Norton.

Installation notes (method 2):******************************

* NOTE: Please disconnect internet and disable Norton AntiVirus
and Norton Protection before you login into Safe Mode!

1- Login into Safe Mode, run the NTR with admin rights,

2. If you are using an older version of the NTR, then uninstall it now.

3- Now select 366 days (Test) and click Install.

4- A message will pop up asking to select YES for auto reset or NO for manual reset.
Click NO (with auto reset there is every possibility of getting blacklisted).
>> NOTE: The NTR button also provides a manual reset to reset the subscription.

5- It will try to shutdown Norton and restart.
Wait for a pop up saying Installed successfully.

6- Now click Uninstall. It should say: Uninstalled successfully.

7- Restart your computer and enjoy Norton 2010 for 366 days!

To go into Safe Mode:

- Press (F8) while (re-)starting the computer. Select Safe Mode to continue.

Or:

1- Go to Start -> Run and type msconfig, click OK.
2- In the System Configuration Utility, on the BOOT.INI tab, check /SAFEBOOT
3- Click OK.
4- When asked to restart the computer, click Restart.

To turn back to Normal Mode repeat the above 4 steps and just uncheck /SAFEBOOT
